Byrnes Woodcrafters is a familiar place to many visitors to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. Featuring a variety of hand-crafted wood craft gifts and souvenirs of the Smokies, the two all-time favorites are cedar wind spinners and personalized cedar name key chains.
 
Both of these items are hand-crafted by Ed Byrnes, Craftsman of the Smokies. From his workshop filled with tools of the wood crafters’ trade, Ed hand crafts cedar key chains, wind spinners, and other items one by one. Ever find name key chains somewhere else but your name was not available? Not to worry at Byrnes Woodcrafters. Ed will be happy to craft a personalized key chain with your very own name no matter how unique the name or how different the spelling.

Cedar Wind Spinners

Our cedar wind spinners are available in three (3) sizes: small, medium, and large. They vary from 1 to 2 feet in length and 7 inches wide.
All cedar wind spinners store flat for easy mailing.

Whirligigs

Whirligigs are available in 4 styles:

• Bluebird (14½” L x 10” W x 4½” H)
• Cardinal (17” L x 10” W x 5” H)
• Blue Jay (17” L x 10” W x 4½” H)
• Mallard  (18” L x 10” W x 4” H)

Each whirligig includes a mounting rod and nail.
